Set up ChatGPT
OpenAI’s conversational AI. Connect Agentcy as a remote MCP server to get marketing intelligence directly in ChatGPT conversations — no config files needed.

Open chatgpt.com and sign in (requires Plus, Pro, Team, or Enterprise plan)

Go to Settings → Apps

Toggle on “Developer mode” (marked as Elevated Risk — this is normal for custom MCP servers)

Click “Create app” in the top-right corner

Enter Name: “Agentcy” and MCP Server URL: https://data.goagentcy.com/mcp

Set Authentication to “OAuth” (leave Client ID and Client Secret empty)

Check “I understand and want to continue”, then click Create

Complete the OAuth flow — enter your Agentcy API key (agcy_...) when prompted

Start a new chat, click + in the composer → More → select your Agentcy connector

When prompted, enter your Agentcy API key (agcy_...)
Find your key at: app.goagentcy.com → Settings → API KeysRequires a paid ChatGPT plan (Plus, Pro, Team, Enterprise, or Edu). Developer mode disables ChatGPT memory for conversations using custom connectors. To use Agentcy in a chat, click + in the message composer → More → select your Agentcy app.
