Google Trends
Research & IntelligenceTestedSeasonal demand patterns, trending topics, keyword interest over time, and geographic breakdowns.
Google Trends is built into Agentcy's Web Intelligence engine. It's included with every plan, always active, and works alongside 100+ other data sources in the same query.
Understand how interest in any topic, keyword, or brand changes over time. Google Trends provides relative search interest data on a 0-100 scale, breakdowns by region, related queries, and rising topics. This is essential for seasonal planning, identifying emerging opportunities, and validating content strategies.
Ask about demand trends for your industry, compare interest between competing products, or check whether a topic is gaining or losing momentum. Trends data goes back years, giving you a long-term view of market dynamics.
“Is interest in 'electric vehicles' growing or declining?”
“Show me seasonal trends for 'winter coats'”
“Compare search interest: 'Shopify' vs 'WooCommerce'”
“What's trending on Google in the US right now?”
“When does interest in 'tax software' peak?”
“Which states have the most interest in 'solar panels'?”
“Is demand for 'AI tools' still rising?”
“Show me Google Trends for 'plant-based protein' over the last 5 years”
“What related queries are people searching alongside 'home fitness'?”

Historical data is available going back several years. The most recent 24-72 hours may show incomplete data as Google Trends processes results with a delay.
Google Trends shows relative interest (0-100 scale), not absolute search volume — a score of 100 means peak popularity for that term in the selected timeframe
Comparing keywords with very different volume levels can be misleading — a niche term at '100' may have far fewer searches than a broad term at '50'
Regional breakdowns can be sparse for low-volume keywords — you may not get city-level data for niche topics
Real-time trending data may include noise from viral events that are not relevant to your market
