Readability Scorer

Content readability analysis — Flesch, Flesch-Kincaid, Gunning Fog, SMOG, Coleman-Liau, passive voice detection.

OVERVIEW

Readability Scorer analyzes any webpage or text for reading difficulty using five standardized indexes: Flesch Reading Ease, Flesch-Kincaid Grade Level, Gunning Fog, SMOG, and Coleman-Liau. It also detects passive voice usage, finds the hardest sentences in your content, and generates actionable recommendations for improvement.

Ask about your content's reading level, grade difficulty, or writing quality. Agentcy fetches the page, strips the HTML, and runs the full readability analysis — returning scores, grade levels, and specific sentences that are dragging down readability.

This is an always-available bundled service — no setup required. Analyzes any public URL or you can describe specific text.

TIPS
4

Readability indexes are designed for English text — scores for non-English content may not be meaningful

Navigation menus, footers, and boilerplate HTML are stripped before analysis, but some may still be included depending on page structure

Grade levels represent US school grades — a score of 8 means 8th-grade reading level (age 13-14)

Flesch Reading Ease above 60 is considered good for general audiences — marketing content should aim for 60-70
